In connection with Motus’ visit to Stockholm from October 3–7, the collaborating partners; the Italian Cultural Institute of Stockholm (IIC), Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH), and Turteatern, offer the audience opportunities to deepen their understanding of the Everything Burns project and Motus’ artistic practice, as well as the chance to mingle with the theatre company. All events are held in English.
Opening reception
After the first performance of You Were Nothing but Wind, there will be an opening reception in the foyer of Turteatern with mingling for the audience, Motus’ team, and the presenters of the guest performance.

Program presentation and discussion
Motus founders Enrico Casagrande and Daniela Nicolò will discuss the artistic methods and aesthetics of the theatre company. The discussion will be moderated by Jon Refsdal Moe, Professor of Dramaturgy at SKH. After the presentation, at 7:30 PM, there will be a guided tour of the Institute in Swedish as part of Open House Stockholm. Jon Refsdal Moe is a Professor of Dramaturgy at SKH, and is also active as a writer and dramaturge.
October 4th, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM at the auditorium of the Italian cultural Institute, Gärdesgatan 14.

Post-performance party
Social gathering with bar in the foyer for the audience, Motus’ team, and the presenters of the guest performance.

Artist talk with Motus
After the solo performances You Were Nothing but Wind and Of the Nightingale I Envy the Fate, the creative team of Motus will have a conversation moderated by Synne Behrndt, lecturer and Program Director for the Master’s Program in Performing Arts at SKH and active as a dramaturge and researcher in dramaturgy, performance, and creative processes.

Open lecture
by Daniela Nicolò and Enrico Casagrande, founders and artistic directors of Motus. An in-depth talk about the artistic process of Motus, with an exploration of the trilogy EVERYTHING BURNS.
