Sir Gawain is on his way. He has a deadline to meet: within a year and a day, he must face the Green Knight again and complete the duel he reluctantly agreed to.

On his Gringolet 5000, he speeds through a world where futuristic galaxies meet medieval moors, with the GPS set for the Green Chapel. But the road there refuses to stay still. Landscapes shift, and Gawain’s chivalry is constantly put to the test by a deceitful trickster in ever-changing guises. Time is pressing – but where, exactly, is the Green Chapel?

The Green Knight is a performance for children aged 5 to 8 and their grown-ups, about courage, promises, and the big question: what is a knight’s true purpose?

The audience is invited into a “funhouse” where classic chivalric references meet high-energy glam rock and cult sci-fi, and where children themselves help piece together the story’s unresolved mystery.

The performance is freely inspired by the medieval English legend Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, a tale that has puzzled readers for centuries with its elusive symbolism and ambiguous morality.
